I love people and I’m passionate about my work teaching yoga, inspiring others to unlock their full potential, dedicated to guiding individuals towards holistic wellness and inner peace through the practice of mindfulness and movement.
Qualifications and Specialisations
I’m a fully insured and certified yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. I’ve been teaching yoga for 9 years with over a thousand hours of teaching experience. I have continued to deepen my knowledge, specializing in areas that resonate with the diverse needs of my students.
🔥 My specialities
Vinyasa Flow is my passion which allows me to express my creativity in the sequencing of the flow. I’ve been inspired and fascinated by the Feldenkrais method for Yoga (2018) where the emphasis is on the perception of the body and becoming aware of habits and tensions. With the Art of Adjustment (2016) I gained an in-depth understanding of the purpose and use of hands-on adjustments for yoga postures.
🌿 Mental Health
Acknowledging the importance of mental health, I completed courses on Yoga for Anxiety and Depression and Teaching Restorative Yoga, both pillars of my holistic approach to well-being.
🧘🏼♀️ BackCare Expertise
To deepen my knowledge of anatomy and address issues related to bad posture and spine health, I earned certification as a BackCare Yoga teacher.
🌺 Women’s Health Advocate
From my personal experience in dealing with the symptoms of Menoapause, I specialized in Menopause Yoga training with Petra Coveney . Having gained a keen understanding of the stages of fertility and the transition of peri-menopause, I guide women through yoga practices that support and empower them at every stage of life, with an awareness that every woman is unique and has a different journey.
🪷 Honouring Women’s Wellness
Certified by Yoga Alliance, I completed the FLOW-Yoga to honour women’s menstrual cycle course with Kelsey Taylor in 2022. This unique approach allowed me to empower women through yoga, aligning with their natural rhythms and fostering a deeper connection with their bodies.
🌍 Journey towards Longevity
I am deeply intrigued by the topic of longevity and believe that yoga holds profound potential in fostering a healthy and vibrant late stage of life. Through the integration of yoga into daily routines, I aim to explore its transformative effects on enhancing physical vitality, mental clarity, and emotional well-being, ultimately contributing to a fulfilling and extended lifespan.
